Who We Are

Heart to Heart Christian Fellowship was started in Rick and Gloria Cobb’s living room through prayer and seeking of God’s direction by several people wanting to start a church, who were just ready to serve in new ways.   The first time we prayed together was in June 2016.  Our first gathering was October 2016 in an airplane hangar behind 367 West Cougar Lane, China Spring, TX.  We moved to temporary location at 7858 Highway 6 that  Pastor Larry Cathey, from Freedom of God Ministries, allowed us to use.  Now, by the power of God, we purchased a building at 4900 Sanger, Waco, TX 76710.

As we met, and continue to meet, we seek direction from God, open to his leading, ready to adapt and adjust, how and where we are being led.  Which has recently happened. We sold our building to Hope and Believe, who is allowing us to continue to use the building at no cost to us. With the financial boost, we have begun implementing actions to help us grow into the church is calling us to be. We have located a facility only .2 of a mile from our present location with plans to move there as soon as possible, 4809 W Waco Dr, Waco, TX 76710.

We want to be a church where all people are welcome and able to belong, be empowered, find meaning and purpose.  We know we want to be a church where relationships, ministry and mission dictate and define our budget, facilities and processes.  Loving God and loving ALL people is our driving force.

GOAL, MISSION, VISION AND RESULT
Our Goal: Love God and Love All People.
Our Mission: Share God’s Grace in Jesus Christ.
Our Vision: A family in Christ, who enjoys our special relationship, being empowered to worship, to serve, and to share grace in our own neighborhood and beyond.

OUR PRIORITIES
Jesus
Jesus will be exalted in our gatherings, in our lives and through our actions.
Relationships
Establishing, building and healing relationships are most important. Our gatherings will always be designed to facilitate fellowship so relationships might flourish.
Sharing Grace
We are compelled by the love of Christ to share the grace and mercy that we have received from him with all people, spiritually and materially.
Balanced and Relevant
We will Fellowship, Equip, Worship, Evangelize and Serve. We will seek to be contemporary, culturally relevant, but not compromising.
Unity in Diversity
We will seek to be a church where spiritual, racial and social equality is expressed, experienced and exhibited. Galatians 3:28, “…you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
